Software update when WiFi not available
I tried to do a software update from my phone but the download and install option is greyed out And it’s also asking for a WiFi connection which I don’t have

I’m just going to throw a suggestion in here.
If you don’t have access to Wi-Fi perhaps you could download and install the new iOS on a free, public Wi-Fi connection. Such as in a restaurant. (McDonald’s.)
I think there are downsides to this, but I don’t know what they are. Maybe research the matter before taking my advice.
