What is the latest software update for the iwatch 5? I updated my iphone 7, but can't get my iwatch 5 to update. Wondering if there was no update there. I have restarted both, hooked in to my wifi and bluetooth, but when I go to the watch app to start update, it has me check that my iphone 7 has been updated, and ends there. Sometimes it says there is an error. Do I need to make an appointment for tech support?

The new Apple Watches require an iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16 or later. An iPhone 7+ cannot be updated to iOS 16. Sorry.

You have two options:

Return the watch for refund as it is NOT compatible with your iPhone 7 Plus - OR
Buy a newer more modern iPhone, which can run iOS 16, which is required for your watch
