How to safely remove icloud email account on my macbook air and iphone 12 Pro Max. I don’t want to delete the ermail, just remove it so it doesn’t take up space and I can streamline my information.
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.2
On the Mac go to System Settings / Preferences ➜ Accounts ➜ iCloud ➜ iCloud Mail and click on there "Turn Off" button.
This will remove the email account from the system, but the account will continue to exist and be accessible on iCloud.com
On the iPhone do the same in Settings ➜ Mail ➜ Accounts ➜ iCloud ➜iCloud ➜iCloud Mail ➜ Use on this iPhone and turn the switch off.
