Thumbnails missing from imported videos

Hi,

I’m in the process of transfering all my pics from Googledrive to ICloud so everything is in the same place. Photos are showing fine however none of the videos are displaying a thumbnail which makes finding what you want impossible. Please tell me what button to press to fix it as i don’t want to go back to Google.

Can't save videos from files to photos anymore I want to save a video from my Google Drive to my Photos App. In Google Drive you can download the video. It says "Saving to Photos". But once the snackbar menu pops up, there is no option to save it to the Photos App. This behavior was like that for since forever. But there was an update some time ago, with that you were able to save the video directly to the Photos App. But since this doesn't work anymore, I went back to the old way. First saving it to the files app. Open the video in the files app and save it to Photos App from there. But here the same problem. There is no option to save it to Photos. It looks like apple removed that in one the last 3 iOS updates. If so. Why? If not. What am I doing wrong?

Photos CONSTANTLY uploading to iCloud before I can finish in FCPX thus getting the "Missing Plug in" sign OMG! Ths is SO frustrating! And I have looked online for the solution to no avail 😩 I export photos and videos to FCPX from a new folder that I have set up on my desktop. As I start adding them to my timeline line, some of them will upload to iCloud and then I get the "Missing Plug In" sign in its place. HOW DO I STOP THAT FROM HAPPENING???

video on windows won’t upload to icloud Hi, I have files with videos and photos in on my Laptop and when I select the file to upload to iCloud the videos have disappeared from the file!Any ideas?The photos in the same file upload OK .If I move the video to a new file and try again to upload the iCloud screen says file empty.

Hey StuartAdair, this community space is for the Clips app, did you mean to post your question in Photos for iOS - Apple Community or iCloud on my iOS device - Apple Community?

As a starting point, I would suggest checking for software updates, available storage (device storage and iCloud account storage), and a strong network connection.
