Apple Watch Black Screen

Is anyone else annoyed the Apple Watch screen is black after 2 years? Of course no longer under warranty, thus Apple will not fix or replace without paying the cost of $300. How are customers going to have confidence in Apple products?

If you have been to Apple and they have decided it is broken and it is out of warranty when are we supposed to advise? Stuff happens.

Make sure you have tried this

The article If your Apple Watch won't charge or it won't turn on - Apple Support including the advice to Force Restart near the end of the article is the best resource for this situation.

Without knowing what model you have it is hard to advise whether to accept the replacement for $300 or buy a new SE for $259. If it's a 5,6,7 then go for the replacement. If it's a 3 then don't. Get the SE it's better.

Thank you.

I have visited the Genius Bar. I was told the issue is hardware and I have performed the force restart numerous times, to no avail.

The issue isn’t what model I have or what to replace the watch with. It is the fact I have had the watch for two years and it’s barely used. The other issue is Apple. What type of service is this; the watch is two years old and no longer works due to Apple hardware malfunctions, not mine. I’m to come out of pocket to replace or fix it? How is anyone to how confidence in Apple products year after year?

Stuff happens? No, Apples hardware, not the customer.

If a Tesla or any other product used daily failed after 2 years, would you question the price and service?
