My IPhone 12 keeps freezing. Every couple of minutes the screen just randomly freezes and I can’t do anything, when I try force resetting it, it keeps doing the same thing. I tried updating my phone, but I keeps freezing whenever I do so, is my phone done for?

Did what you said and my battery health is at 100% and at least 45.66 GB is left on my phone storage, yet it sometimes freezes, not as often as yesterday though.
Your iPhone is not done for, however, may be in need of a battery replacement OR you may not have enough free storage space on your iPhone.
You may have a poor battery condition which cannot provide sufficient power for peak performance. What is the Battery Health of your iPhone? Open Settings ➔ Battery ➔ Battery Health and let us know which percentage you see for Maximum Capacity. Also note what is written under Peak Performance. If your battery's Maximum Capacity shows a value of 80% or less, then it has gone through its lifecycle and therefore should be replaced, according to Apple.
How much free space is available on your iPhone? To check, open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About ➡️ Available. Here you should see the available free space. You should maintain at least 10GB+ to keep your iPhone running efficiently.

Good, that explains it. I asked because some here find that a persistently high maximum capacity % is due to a nongenuine iPhone battery replacement. But that's not the case with yours.

Yeah it doesn’t work, did exactly what you said.
At this point, it is a good idea to have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and a resolution.
