Why cant i leave a group chat with a android??

In order to remove a person, leave or rename a conversation, everyone in the conversation is required to use iMessages.


If someone in the group sends "normal green" SMS messages, these functions are not available. You can activate Hide Alerts on the conversation, so you don't get notifications when there are new messages. You can also ask people in a group to start a new group where you are not a member, and then delete the conversation.


Swipe from left to right on the conversation in the overview and tapping the purple bell to Hide Alerts:
