MLB TV on Apple TV - Live ads glitch
I have an Apple TV 4K (2nd Generation). I am an MLB TV subscriber. This year, when I try to watch a game, at the end of each half inning, the stream is fed a live commercial, I totally lose the feed. The only way to correct the issue is to hard close the app, restart the app, reselect the game. Alternatively, if I pause the feed before it goes to live commercial, wait for a few minutes, then press play and "go to live," I can skip the ads and not lose the feed. I called MLB and they tried to suggest this was an Apple TV problem. I called Apple TV support and they said it was an MLB TV problem. I have an old Amazon Firestick, and when I use that, no issue. I'm at a total loss and no one is helping me. *Oh, and if INSTEAD of a live ad, I get the stock screen that says "MLB TV, Commercial Break In Progress," I don't lose the feed. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I don't want to have to swap out to the fire stick every time I want to watch the game.
