News widgets not available CNN USA Today

Iphone 14 pro max. IOS 16. Both News apps widgets stopped functioning and then they disappeared from the choices to be able to add them to the swipe right screen. Any ideas here ? Tried the standards reset, delete, download etc.

The CNN Widget stopped working on all my Mac computers on April 19, 2023, too.
