How to reenable the notch and keep using my WHOLE display without going fullscreen?

As a developer, I always care about keeping the "old scenarios" to my users. How to revert this "Scale to fit below camera" setting and keep using my whole display without going fullscreen?

I cannot accept to lose valuable screen pixels because of a camera notch - that I never cared about, and be forced to go fullscreen as a workaround.

Please guide me through.

Thanks,

Fernando
