My Computer Cannot Recognize My Device

I've been having this problem for about 2 weeks now. I plug my iPad/iPhone in, and both aren't recognized by the computer. I've tried everything, from resetting location and privacy settings, using different cables, updating my computer and iPad, updating my iTunes, everything. And I'm still stuck on the same page. I need some help.

iPad, iPadOS 16

  1. I looked in iTunes, nothing
  2. All software is up to date.
  3. Phone is connected directly to the computer, nothing. Tried every port, took out all except the lightning cable, nothing.
  4. Trust this Computer doesn't even pop up.
  5. Not a Mac user
  6. Restarted both my PC and iPhone, nothing.
  7. Tried two different cables, nothing.

That's all, right?

I am very aware of that.

New Info:

My iPad (iPad 10, iPad OS 16.3.1) can be recognized by my computer, but not my iPhone (iPhone 11, iOS 16.3.1). I also used a different iPhone (iPhone 13, iOS 16.3.1).

I used a different computer, and that detected the iPhone.

I used a different iPad (iPad 6)with this computer using the same cable as the iPhone, and it detected the iPad. I also used a different iPhone (iPhone 13, iOS 16.3.1), and it worked.

This is really confusing.

If your iPad is not recognised, or fails to restore, try using a different USB port. If you are experiencing difficulties when using a host computer’s USB-C port, instead try using a Type-A USB port - as this will often address the problem.
