New Family computer. What Apple ID do we use?

We just bought a new family computer and I signed in with my apple id. The problem is now the computer has all of my contacts, search history, phone call logs, etc. I don't really want that. I want it to be the family computer without all my data.

What should I do? Should we make a new apple id that is for just the family and use that on the new Mac?
