Can’t see the updates on shared notes

I have a shared notes with my friend who had an Iphone Xr. it took so long for the shared notes to update on my device while on her it just took a couple of days. How can i fix this problem? i tried to on and off the notes from iCloud and it still don’t update fast, usually it will took weeks before i see the update. Our ios version is the same. How can we fix this problem? can you please help.

Let's try to isolate the issue to your iPad or possibly the network you are using.


First, check iCloud.com to see if the Notes update any faster.


If so, you will want to try using your iPad on another Wi-Fi network to see if the changes occur sooner.



You can also try refreshing the Notes app connection to the network by closing it and opening it again: Close an app on your iPad - Apple Support

1. From the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle of the screen.
2. Swipe right or left to find the app that you want to close. 
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close the app. 


If you still have questions, reach out to Apple Support directly, as this may require closer guidance: Get Support
