MacBook Pro Battery draining while asleep.
My macbook pro battery will consistently drain while the machine is asleep. I have tried all the things, including checking activity monitor and shutting down things that "prevent sleep." Its mostly just showing that "windowpane" thing that you can't really shut down.
I am officially over this nonsense. I am out of patience. I know it has something to do with the software that is meant to preserve the battery life and health.
How do I shut that software off? I don't even care about the battery health anymore. If making this stupid issue stop means replacing the battery a little sooner, fine. It's worth it to me.
I have power nap disabled, and wake for network access is set to never. All notifications are set to not show in lock screen (not sure if that is causing it or not). I don't know how to fix this. Its not the computer or the cord; when I get the machine opened up, it starts charging just fine.
Thank you.
