Sudden percentage drop in battery .

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask why in the last 3 4 months in the battery information it reports me 94% with only 30 cycles used.

My Mac is only 22 months old and always used with the current and occasionally with the battery .

There are about 970 cycles left at the end of battery life, but if this is the proportion of wear, what should I expect?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.2

Rechargeable batteries can lose some initial charge capacity quickly and the last for a long time at that level before losing capacity, some will hold initial capacity for a long time and then start to lose capacity, some will start slowly losing capacity from day one, and any other possible combinations.  It is just the nature of rechargeable batteries.

FWIW, don't try to micromanage your battery and just use the Mac.  If you reach a point in time where the working time on battery is not long enough to meet your needs, then start to worry or just get the battery replaced.

Also, the battery technology used by the MacBook Air and billions of other devices, being chemical in nature, will naturally just tend to degrade regardless of how it is "taken care of" and this degradation itself follows what I have mentioned above.
