Blurred out section of some Safari Google searches

Out of nowhere that I can figure some web searches on Safari 13.1.2 have the image section blurred out. It's not for all searches, appears to be random topics. If I use Chrome I get a "normal" search result page, screenshots attached. Can't find anything amiss in Safari preferences and I need it resolved, I vastly prefer Safari to Chrome (don't ask why) and would like to figure this out. Any help appreciated. I'm on OS 10.13.6

There was a substantially identical question posted a while ago, and I never got to the bottom of it.

Does the problem exist if you were to use a different search engine, such as Microsoft Bing (or anything else, for that matter)? The idea is to determine whether the problem is strictly limited to Google images.
