Being able to pause a video and get a translation using Live Text is great; but how do you clear the translation once you have read it?
There is no close button, and no not obvious way of doing so; it just stays on top of the video.

You may need to toggle on Live Text on macOS Ventura for this to work. To do so, simply go to System Settings > General > Language & Region > Live Text. Although it doesn’t state “select text in the video,” leaving this option off will disable the Live Text button when you pause a video in the Photos app.

I fixed this myself. You have to re-click the "Translate" button to get rid of the translation.
Poor and unintuitive design by Apple.
Just a guess… press the ESC key.
