Birthdays in calendar

A few months ago I got a new iPhone 14. Now none of my Birthdays are showing up in my calendar unless I have put them in since I have gotten the new phone. I do notice when I go to Calendars and I click on calendars at the bottom Birthdays is checked and in in the color gray. I could is on but when I go to the iCloud website nothing shows up on my calendars. Probably two different problems. Any suggestions?
