KVM for Macbook Pro and Mac Mini to Share Thunderbolt Display

Hi Community

I have a 27" Thunderbolt display which I want to share between my Macbook Pro (USB-C ) and Mac Mini (USB-C ).

I currently have to manually swap the USB-C cable (converted from Thunderbolt) between the Macbook Pro and Mac Mini. Is there a KVM Switch that will allow me to do this seamlessly? I leave the mouse and keyboard plugged into the Thunderbolt Display, so it's really only how I share the display between the two Macs.

FYI I can't use the system screen-sharing option with Mac OS as my work device (Mac Pro) uses a VPN

Mac mini, 12.6

Packets going toward the Internet are sent through the TOPMOST working interface shown in

System preferences > network. They are subject to internet proxies and VPNs, and are sent to your Router.

I am not certain you need a separate connection for LOCAL traffic. I run a backup server as a separate station on my network and use Screen Sharing all the time.

In obscure cases, you MAY need a separate Internet connection through a different medium, that is NOT TOPMOST, it could provide Screen Sharing directly, using those goofy-looking 'self-assigned' IP addresses.
