Forced to subscribe to Apple Music bundle to play music

I have separate Apple Music, Apple TV, and iCloud accounts. I want to keep them separate because I'm paying for the higher tier iCloud storage.

When I try to play music in Apple Music though, I am blocked from being able to play any songs in the store because there is a pop up that is forcing me to subscribe to Apple One. There is no way to decline the offer:

Has anyone else had this issue?

Hello PhoenixSolutions,

This page can help you understand exactly what happens to your iCloud+ storage plan when you sign up for Apple One: What happens to your iCloud storage when you sign up for Apple One - Apple Support. It offers information for the following scenarios:

If the iCloud storage included in Apple One is more than your current plan
Your current iCloud+ plan is canceled and you'll receive a pro-rated refund. Your total iCloud storage will be the amount included in your Apple One subscription.

If the iCloud storage included in Apple One is equal to your current plan
During the free trial, you keep both your current iCloud+ plan and the iCloud storage in Apple One. Once the trial is finished, your current iCloud+ plan is canceled. Your total iCloud storage will be the amount included in your Apple One subscription.

If the iCloud storage included in Apple One is less than your current plan
You keep both your current iCloud+ plan and the iCloud storage in Apple One.
If you prefer to keep only the storage included in your Apple One subscription, you can downgrade or cancel your current iCloud+ plan.

** If you see an iCloud storage message, learn what to do.

If you need more iCloud storage
After you subscribe to Apple One, you can buy more iCloud storage if you need more. With both Apple One and an iCloud+ plan, you can have up to 4TB of total iCloud storage.

We hope this information helps you out.

Best wishes!
