Keynote Video - How to automatically transition to next slide when video ends

I'd like to play a slideshow that has a few embedded videos of various lengths. I'd like to hit play so viewers can watch the whole program, but there seems to be a quirk in the software that won't allow the program to move to the next slide without manually clicking. Yes, you can put in the exact length of the video before the transition, but it's hard to test the result for a long video.

The quirk is this - lets say you have a 10 minute video. If you put in a 600 second delay as an automatic transition to the next slide, then theoretically the video will make that transition. But you have to wait the full 10 minutes in real time to see the results. You can't just drag the video slider to the near the end of the video, let the last few seconds play, and then watch the transition. And you can't drag the slider to skip part of the video then have the transition occur right at the end. You have to wait the full 10 minutes.

Does anyone have a solution? I'm running the latest version of Keynote on Ventura on an M1 iMac.

Sorry, I don't know how to do it in Keynote.

As a workaround, you can append videos in QuickTime Player. Open the first video file, then select Edit > Add Clip to End..., and save/export your video.

I know this isn't what you asked for. Having the ability to select "After Build 1 movie finished" in Build Order editor would be a nice and simple feature to add.
