Then all you should need to do, is sign in on the new Mac (choose "Don't transfer anything") and everything saved under the same AppleID will be available to you (though it will need to be downloaded from iCloud, which may take time).

You may need to redownload some Apps, but documents, photos and music stored in iCloud will be available.

You're welcome! I usually do what you're doing on my new Apple devices, as I have multiple iPads and multiple Macs. I don't want them all having the same information (outside of what is shared on iCloud)!
