Can I trade in an iPhone I found?
I found a phone and sent it in. But since it’s not mine I don’t have the ability to erase it. Is there anyway to still get a credit for the device?

You are expecting to get money for a device that isn't yours? You can't claim it if it is not associated with your Apple ID. And if Activation lock is active, it will not be accepted.
