Imessage rolls of the screen when typing a long reply. A bug or a feature? I receive an iMessage (using 16.3.1 on both iPad and iPhone) that requires a long and complicated response. As I respond, the iMessage reply box area expands to show my reply. After entering 30 or more lines in the response area, the reply box expands so much that the original message rolls off the screen. I cannot scroll or drag the the screen content to see the original message in order to verify I completely responded to the question.
A work around is to type the response into Notes and then copy and paste the response into iMessage. I would prefer to be able to see the original iMessage and my typed response in IMessage. Is my preferred action possible?
