Your ICD-P520 has a USB interface. Connect it to your Mac and see if it is recognized in System Preferences > Sound > Input. If it is recognized, you should be able to record using the built-in QuickTime app or any other audio recording app. You would need to do this manually, starting the QT or other audio app first, then initiating playback on the P520.

If that doesn't work then the only alternative would be to use the headphone jack (analog audio out) connected to an analog-digital converter, in turn connected to your Mac.

The Sony Digital Voice Editor software is old and is only for Windows; it is not compatible with Mac.
