I have apple car play. Do I have to pay for the apple music on my car?

If you have an Apple Music subscription, you do not have to purchase another one to access Music in CarPlay. Your Apple ID is used to sign into Apple Music.

If you do not have an Apple Music subscription, you can still access music that's available on your iPhone. This can either be done by using Siri or by opening Music in CarPlay. For more information about playing music with CarPlay, click here: Play music with CarPlay.
