The only application on the planet that can open Pages documents is a Pages application. Export your Pages documents to Word (or PDF) and share those via email with Word users. Word v16.31 or later users can open a PDF and convert it to Word .docx format.

It's much easier if you use the print to pdf feature. Print > pdf > Send in Mail.
