unable to stretch an app across two external displays in Ventura

I have 2 Thunderbolt displays connected to my M1 16" MacBook Pro and I am trying to stretch an app across both screens and the app gets cut off.

Any solution to this?

Stage Manager opening apps on both external monitors at the same time When using the Stage Manager and "Displays have separate Spaces", and two external monitors, I can have an application open on (lets say) the righthand-side monitor (for example, Google Chrome). When I bring a different app to the foreground on the lefthand-side monitor (say the Finder), if I have the Finder also open in the background of the righthand-side monitor, the system opens the Finder app windows to the foreground on BOTH monitors. I don't want to affect anything in the foreground of the righthand-side monitor, when I'm bring new apps to the foreground of the lefthand-side monitor. Can I adjust a setting to avoid this behavior? Overlapping Screen Arrangement There is a part of my multiple screen set up that overlaps. When I go to Displays > Arrange, it won't let my screens overlap. Is there a way around this?

Try Setting the "Displays have Separate spaces" switch in System Settings ➜ Desktop & Dock to off. You will need to log off and log back in for it to take effect.

Then try stretching the app across the displays again.
