MacBook Pro makes a clicking noise when touched
Hi, I have a Macbook Pro 14 inch m1 pro and I have been experiencing a clicking noise when the macbook is touched (when it's opened, the palmrests, speakers, etc) The clicking also sometimes happens just randomly when my macbook is sitting there, opened while i'm using it with an external monitor and peripherals. It's not super loud but it's really irritating. As soon as I open the macbook, it doesn't make any clicking when I touch it but after a bit, it does. When it does, I press on it and it clicks and then right after, if I press on it again, it doesn't make any noise. I have tried removing the back plate and putting it back on which didn't help. This may have something to do with some sort of electricity building up and being discharged which makes that clicking noise. It mainly happens when I am using the speakers. This person in an apple discussion forum seems to have a similar problem. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251250713
Also, side question, does this affect the function/longevity of the mac? is there anything wrong with it? I've had it for about 7 months
Thanks so much for any help or suggestions! Have a great day!
