PREVIEW CROPPING

So I'm working in preview against my better judgement and I was hoping to select a bunch of annotations at once with the Rectangular Selection tool. It ended up cropping (in a very bad way) my image and I hit cmd-z and it will not undo!!! But if I use the Magnify tool, I can see the rest of the annotations outside the crop zone.

How do I restore the original page?

Suddenly I don't get a thumbnail when I take a screenshot, how do I get this feature back. I use Command Shift 4 to take a small screenshot, then a thumbnail appears in the lower right corner of the screen and I can right click that for a menu or drag it to another window. Suddenly this feature is gone and it opens a window and wants me to save the image as a file. I don't want to save it as a file, how to I get the thumbnail feature back?

Screenshot Magnifier Where did the magnifier on markup tool go? Did Apple remove it on IOS 17? To be honest, it is way easier and cooler on the markup tool not on a separate application.

I am trying to crop in Preview but Crop is greyed out. I tried Edit, Select all, but crop is still greyed out. I was able to use this function prior to upgrading to Ventura. How can I crop in Preview. Crop is greyed out. Prior to upgrading to Ventura, Crop was an icon on Markup Tool Bar.
