Photos in iMessage

Hey there,

You should be able to tap on the “IMG_####_JPG” to download the file.

If that does not solve your issue, I suggest toggling iMessage off and then back on by tapping on Settings > Messages > iMessage. Once you’ve done this, go ahead and see if the images appear, or if they download after tapping on “IMG_####_JPG.”

If you still facing this issue contact Apple Support.

I have the same problem just for over a week. Was fine last Monday. Think it is an Apple problem. I’m having to use Facebook Messenger at moment to send and receive pic messages as iMessage isn’t working. Tried turning iMessage in and off and still the same so that didn’t work. Hopefully they will fix it soon.
