Send numbers file via email as pdf

I used to be able to share a Numbers file as a pdf in one step; it seems that now I have to export the file as a pdf, locate that new pdf file, and send that one. Is there an easier way to send an existing Numbers file without having to export it first?

I am assuming you are running Ventura. There were some posts a little while ago about this, if you can find them. I don't recall the answer(s). It is not a problem with Monterey.

EDIT #2 (I found a recent answer):

Print and choose the "Send in email" option

Would be nice if they reintroduced the older way of doing it vs going through these non-intuitive steps.
