Macbook air m2 issue with charge

Hello! I have macbook air m2 which i bought new 1 week ago. I have the latest update Ventura 13.2.1. So, every time when I charge my macbook to 50/65/70/80 doesnt matter how much % after I always turn off my macbook and dont use. But when I turn on macbook next day or after 1 hour I check my battery and its always + 4%. For example i charge to 70% after turn off macbook and again turn on and in the upper bar shows 74% but in the settings it shows "last charge was 70%". How? Maybe someone know it problem in Macbook or MacOS? Thanks!

MacBook Air, macOS 13.2

I would not worry too much about this variation. 4% is not a significant difference whether it is higher or lower.

My best guess is this might be something like the battery calculations being sensitive to temperature. When the battery is charging it will become slightly warmer which could influence the estimate of % charge. When charging is stopped the battery temperature drops to ambient, and the measured voltage and estimate of % charge will vary slightly.
