Bookmarks editing on iPad

I was editing bookmarks (that the updated iOS had rearranged on me) and accidentally reearranged a Favorites folder into another. I know which one it's nested under, but would like to get it back as a separate folder under Favorites. I tried opening the Bookmarks sidebar but couldn't move anything to it. Suggestions?

Hey there IPad_mini_user71,

We understand you need to move a favorites folder back to how it previously was. We'd be happy to provide information on how to do this.

You would have to recreate the favorites folder and then drag the pages to it using the steps here:

Bookmark favorite websites in Safari on iPad - Apple Support

Edit your favorites
1. Tap the Show Sidebar button, then tap Bookmarks.
2. Tap Favorites, then tap Edit to delete, rename, or rearrange your favorites.

Kind regards.
