My iPhone 13 disconnects the call when I’ve been on hold for a period of time, how do I stop this? Any help so gratefully received - I’m trying to get through to my GP and move up the call waiting list when my phone cuts off after a period of time (so have to start again)!.

We'll be glad to look into this with you further. If the call is disconnected, this may be related to your carrier. There shouldn't be a reason your phone would automatically disconnect from an active call. With that said, we'd recommend reaching out to your carrier for further assistance.
