Cannot make a user account on my MacBook Air

Hi, after total new instalation and starting feom the beginning (choosing language atc) in step, where you should create you Account with name of the account and password from this step its not working. I have tried a lot of combinations but everytime there is error with : try different name. Any suggestions? Thanks Iva
