iPhone 13 dropping calls after latest two updates

After installing the latest update (16.3.1) and the one before that also, my iPhone started dropping calls after about 30 seconds on the line. When it first happened on the previous update I did all the recommended fixes, including turning Wifi calls on and off, and restarting the phone multiple times. It seemed to fix itself eventually but not sure how. Now, since installing the new update, it is happening again. Does anyone know why updates cause this? Is it a bug or some setting the update is changing? Really annoying

About Update Errors:

This can occur due to a corrupt install. So, try installing this update once more, this time using a computer.

A. Updating Using a Computer:

Have a Computer Handy? If so, try using a computer to update. Go here: Update your iPhone Using a Computer - User Tip. If any updates are availabe, they will install, sure enough.

B. Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come.

Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
Proceed from there as necessary

Agree Wendy. I think it is something to do with wi fi calling but not sure what. What fixed it for me both times was turning it to Airplane Mode and off again, and restarting the phone. What seemed to confirm it was that i put it on Airplane Mode while I was in a meeting and the call dropping started again. Did the switch on and off and restart and now it is fine....hope someone from Apple is taking notes, not to do with carrier or signal at all...
