Microsoft Word app crashing

My iMac has Microsoft Office Home & Student installed. The Word app has repeatedly been crashing for the past week , can anyone please advice me.

How to fix the "Microsoft Word Can't be Opened" error on Mac I have been using Microsoft word fine up until a few days ago and now I keep getting this message: The application “Microsoft Word” can’t be opened. I have tried updating the app itself and it says it's up to date and I even updated (OS 14.4.1) and restarted the laptop but nothing has changed and it still won't open. WORD microsoft is lagging Mac mini M1 16GB RAM Working on Word is visible large lags preventing work - Mac Mini M1. Working on the same file on the MacBook Pro 8GB RAM has no problems. I noticed this: I have Adobe subscription and acronis installed on Mac Mini; Mac Book Pro does not have these programs - the question is whether these programs can cause MAC Mini M1 to be laughed.

it sorted itself out after I redownloaded the Word app.
