Finding Software instruments
I accidentally moved some files to a backup drive and now Logic won't find the software instruments. Can I reinstall Logic and if so how? It is version 10.6.3. My Mac won't support more recent versions.

See Manage Logic Pro content - Apple Support and Move Logic Pro and MainStage content - Apple Support. You should be able to uninstall then reinstall the damaged content, then correctly relocate it to an external drive so that it works when you want it.
