iPad Air 2 charging cable.

I have a multi charging usb hub that can charge 5 devices. All my apple stuff charges on it. My new iPod air 2 with usc requires me to take the charging plug, the hub and other cables when travelling.

is there a suitable adaptor that would allow my usc cable to connect to the usb hub?
If so, Is there any issues or downsides in doing this?

if you mean usb-c to usb-a adaptor then there are tons

Amazon.com : usb-a to usb-c adapter

about issues or downsides then not unless it's a defect adaptor
