Logic Pro x is automatically creating Fades, when splitting audio.

Recently updated to latest Logic Pro x.

When splitting audio regions Logics is creating fades, Generally the same fade in each project. Seems to be happening with older projects no newer ones.

Really annoying and disrupting workflow. Is anyone else experiencing this? I haven't changed any settings as far as I know.
