Seniors and iPhones

I try to help 4 different seniors with their iPhones . They all live in different cities. Is there anything written in lay man’s terms to help seniors set up their iphone to accommodate their specific disabilities Without getting to frustrated?

Setting up iPhone for elderly parent with dementia Hi, When setting up an iPhone for an elderly parent with dementia, is it better to set it up as a child account, or use ScreenTime, or something else? They have an existing iPhone, but have started making changes without knowing what they’re doing, and have asked us to help because it confuses them when it’s different. We need to be able to control what they download and delete, as well as making sure they can’t turn off their location or our access to their location (we’re using Find My, not sure if there’s a different or better way). They have an iPhone and an Apple Watch. Ideally having more than one person have access to this info to help them.

iPhone training for seniors My husband, 84, and I, 78, bought 13ProMax iPhones during the pandemic when Apple support was "15. minutes or less" of time with a specialist. We met once and were overwhelmed with too much information in too little time. Is Apple offering in-store, in-person iPhone training for seniors? If so, how can my husband and I access this training? We have become frustrated with our inability to fully use these new phones.

Beyond that you might consider giving tutorials on Zoom, or contact a local Apple store for a 90 minute training session.
