How can you hide sports scores when viewing MLS games on the web?

Apple TV and iPhone have Device Preferences to hide sports scores from live, featured, and past games, but on the web the scores from past games are often shown in the featured match carousel at the top and in the menus. How can you hide them on the web when there doesn't appear to be such a preference like there is on Apple-specific devices?

Hi TotallyAtRandom,

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you'd like to hide sports scores while viewing MLS games via a web browser via Apple TV.

Apple TV via the web doesn't include the same features that are available on Apple devices. You can learn more about the features available here: Watch in a web browser - Apple Support

"How to watch in a web browser

  • Go to tv.apple.com to subscribe to and watch Apple TV+ or MLS Season Pass in a web browser.
  • If you already have an Apple ID, you can sign in to start your free trial. You may be asked to add or verify a credit card to ensure the account holder has authorized viewing on the web. For more information, see the Apple Support article Parental controls for Apple TV+ on the web.
  • Note: If you experience difficulties with auto-play functionality while watching Apple TV+ or MLS Season Pass in a web browser, try turning off any ad blocker extensions or apps you’ve installed."

Take care!
