Apple TV shows are too dark

Running Apple TV app on my Roku. Shows are so dark you can hardly make out whats going on. All other apps work fine with light and display.

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. We see your Apple TV app is showing a darker picture than the rest of your Roku apps.

We suggest taking a look at this user guide which will help you navigate and adjust your display settings in the Apple TV app. There may be settings that will correct this.

Another thing you might try is removing the Apple TV app then reinstalling it to see if the issue resolves.

Thank you for the response. I looked at the User Guide, and it actually will be very helpful to me in other areas as well. So I will start with that.

I was contemplating the next suggestion of removing the Apple TV app and then reloading it, but I was afraid that would lose my usage data on shows that i always watch. So I'll try that next.
