No text message alerts, sometimes.

I see questions all over about no notifications. I have latest software, alert settings are all on, mute switch is not on.

However a text message comes in and sometimes the banner does not appear and there is no audio alert on the dark Lock Screen. Tap the screen and the banner is visible. Could be a group text and my wife’s phone alerts and mine does not when we both received the message. Then later in the conversation the alerts randomly return.

Really frustrating when someone texts and I do not reply because I do not know a message has arrived.
