How do i delete hidden purchases apps from my account? The apps been there for more than 5 years

The frequently posted reply is you cannot delete items from your purchase history, you can only hide them.

Well, Apple used to say: "You can see your purchase history, but you can't remove apps from your purchase history," in: Hide purchases from the App Store - Apple Support

Now they no longer do, so maybe they changed their mind?
