MLS Season Pass

I have subscribed to MLS Season Pass. The icon shows up on my iPhone when I open up Apple TV but not on the Apple TV app on my iPad. When I try to access it via tv.apple.com on my iPad, it says I need the latest OS version. But my iPad says it is up to date.
