Ventura won't install after download

Ventura downloaded, but during install it said it could not complete and try again. I hit "ok" and it did not work. What now?

Check in applications folder for a possible Damaged or Incomplete Application call " Install Ventura "

If it is there, Drag and Drop to Trash.

Empty Trash

1 - Restart in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.

2 -  Try Again using the Software Update Applet in System Preferences

Thank you for the suggestions. I got the update to proceed after restarting in "safe" mode. Appreciate the help! I am now running Ventura 13.2.1.

For anyone else having this issue, the exact wording of the error message was:

"An error occurred preparing the update.

Failed to prepare the software update.

Please try again. <OK button>"
