iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 dropping calls, iPhone 8 and iPhone 11 with the same configuration work fine

A few months ago I purchased an iPhone 13 Pro for business purposes. Since a few weeks the calls that I make or receive regularly get interrupted after 8-9 seconds. The problems occur regardless whether I’m connected to WiFi or on 4G. After multiple checks I returned my iPhone for a revision via Apple Care. I hope they are able to diagnose the problem.  In absence of my iPhone 13 Pro I switched back to an iPhone 11 where none of these issues occur. My wife recently bought an iPhone 13 mini to replace an iPhone 8, and it has exactly the same issue. She handed the newly bought iPhone 13 mini in and bought an iPhone 14, in the hope that the iPhone 14 doesn’t have the issue. Guess what: same issue. She switched back to the iPhone 8, where no issues occur. We contacted our provider: they don't see any issues on the network, which is logical, because the symptoms don't occur on an iPhone 8 nor on an iPhone 11. So to conclude so far: we have 3 iPhones (13 Mini, 13 Pro and 14) with dropping calls after 8-9 seconds, while the iPhones 8 and 11 work perfectly fine, using the same iOS version and using the same SIM card. We switched to eSIM, didn't solve it, switched back to a new physical SIM, didn't solve it neither. All iPhones are on the same version 16.3. I'm really surprised to see "only" a few hundreds of people having this issue. In our case our iPhones are connected to iPads and Apple Watches. The reason why I mention this is because we have an impression that the issues are more frequent at our home location, and less when we are away from home... This is really a weird issue. On top of all of this: we have two family members with an iPhone 13 who don't have the issue... Calling via WhatsApp works fine on all devices. APPLE, this is a horrible issue that requires a quick fix! We tried the suggestions to go in plane mode and back, none of this works! We tried fresh installs, network resets, on/off WiFi... no luck so far.

This is an issue with your cellular carrier and their towers.

The iPhone 13 and 14 support different frequency bands than your older iPhones, and it's likely their cellular towers are not properly optimized for the newer frequencies.

Contact your cellular carrier for help.

Not sure whether the cellular carrier and their towers cause this problem (but I reached out to them anyway, based on your advice). I have my iPhone 13 Pro for a year now, and the issues only started a few months ago (potentially after an upgrade, but hard to tell). Also, my children both own an iPhone 13 Mini on iOS version 16.1.1, and they don't experience any problems either. If the problem would be with the cellular carrier, then these iPhone 13 Mini's would have the same problem, isn't it?
