Mac Email emails disappear, reappear randomly. No fix. Any news?
I have a problem that it appears many, many other users also have. Emails in Mac email disappear and usually reappear at some point. Sometimes closing mail and re-opening it triggers the reappearance. Sometimes restarting does. Sometimes they will appear after doing one of these then instantly disappear again. Today I had no new emails showing in my in-box (I knew that there were new emails from logging onto email server directly). Then they appeared, but all the old ones disappeared :/
The rebuild mails box option does not fix this. This is not a case of someone else logging into my account and deleting emails, or emails going into junk, or someone else messing around with my computer or any of the other suggestions that you find if you Google this. There is clearly a significant problem with the software for this to be affecting so many people.
So, my question is, does anyone know if Apple are working to fix this? It's a problem that people have been posting about for many years now and it appeared after a software upgrade (sorry I forget which). The only thing that I feel can solve it otherwise is to stop using Mac Mail but I'm open to other suggestions.
